Expect a miracle...
Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I thank you for sending your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me. Loving Father, touch me now with your healing hands, for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.
Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus' precious blood. Let the fire of your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function. Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart. Heal the hurts and pains and all the wounds that I have in my life. Saturate my entire being with your presence, love, joy, and peace and draw me ever closer to you every moment of my life.
And Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to do your works so that my life will bring glory and honor to your holy name.
With all our hearts we commend our dear children to You. We entrust them to Your
fatherly care and all-
Grant us the grace to guide them in the paths of virtue and in the way of Your commandments. We will do this by the good example of our own life, by observance of Your holy law and that of our holy mother, the Church. In order that we may do so faithfully, make us conscious of our grave obligations to Your divine justice. But all our efforts will fail unless You, O almighty and merciful God, will make them fruitful by Your heavenly blessing.
Trusting in the great goodness and mercy You have shown us, we humbly ask Your blessing. We ask it for ourselves and for the children whom You have graciously given us. We dedicate them to You, O Lord. Keep them as the apple of Your eye, and protect them under the shadow of Your wings. Make us worthy to reach heaven together with them, where forever we may praise and thank You, our Father, for the loving care You have given our family. Amen.
Heavenly father, please sustain my spirit as I search for new and meaningful work. You have blessed me with a healthy body and a keen mind for which I am grateful. I ask that you open my path as I seek employment that will allow me to support my family and myself while serving others and your divine purpose.
Dear God, source of Love and Life who brings abundance to all, Please bring prosperity to me and my family now. We ask that these basic needs be filled: Money to pay our bills, Income to meet our mortgage (rent), Enough to feed us healthy food, And more than enough for health care and wellness. Beyond the material needs, please uplift our souls.
“I called out to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice. For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the flood surrounded me; all your waves and your billows passed over me.
Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.‘The waters closed in over me to take my life; the deep surrounded me; weeds were wrapped about my head at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit,O LORD my God.
When my life was fainting away, I remembered the LORD, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple. Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love. But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the LORD!”
Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us. To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us. We ask for words both kind and loving, and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive. Dear Lord, we put our marriage into your hands. Amen.
We thank you, O God, for the love you have implanted in our hearts. May it always inspire us to be kind in our words, considerate of feelings, and concerned for each other's needs and wishes. Help us to be understanding and forgiving of human weaknesses and failings. Increase our faith and trust in you and may your prudence guide our life and love. Bless our marriage, O God, with peace and happiness, and make our Love fruitful for your glory and our joy both here and in eternity. Amen.
I miss him so much, God. I can't stop thinking about him. I wish I could just get over it. But it's not that simple. I love him. I don't want to live without him. Help me, God. Heal my pain. Mend my shattered heart. Teach me that I am strong. Remind me that I will love again. Hear my prayer, God. Let me know You are near. Amen.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Dear Lord, see me through these hard times. In these troubling times, I am filled with unspeakable fears. I reach out my hand to you now, And ask you to walk besides me.
I cannot carry all my burdens, But I know you can, and will. Please walk beside me. Please guide me. Please help me hold on strong, through the trials and storms. Help me hold on to my faith, In even the darkest hour. Stay with me Lord, And show me Your way. In your love and Holy Spirit I abide. Amen.
Lead me O Lord from death to life, from falsehood to truth. Lead me from despair to hope, from fear to trust. Lead me from hate to love, from war to peace. Let peace reign in our hearts, our world and our universe.
May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
With Miriam, who with Moses and Aaron led the people of Israel out of Egypt;
With Deborah, who judged the people of Israel in truth and righteousness;
With Ruth, who was an example of faithfulness;
With Mary Magdalen, who first brought the good news of the resurrection;
With Phoebe, deacon and leader of the early Church;
With Priscilla, who labored with Aquila in the service of Christ;
With Dorcas, who spent herself doing good and helping the poor;
With Mary the mother of Jesus, who said “yes” with no holding back.
With these, our sisters, We pray for women everywhere who see their families divided, their children sad; we pray for women who against all odds create a good place for their families to live in; we pray for women who, when tempted to give up, find new strength from their sisters and go on. Amen.
Lord, I need your help! You have set a bounteous table in front of me which I have enjoyed time and time again and for which I am grateful! But it seems I may have enjoyed this a little too much and my body is reflecting the bounty! Please help me to choose healthy foods, to know that I will be fully satisfied with smaller portions and give me the strength to resist overeating. Amen.
Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against Your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and there is nothing good in us. O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent; according to Your promises declared unto men in Christ Jesus our Lord. Grant that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life; to the glory of His name. Amen
Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent, for the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.
And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -
I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. This is my prayer. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
